Kyuden Group's Mission

Given the major changes in our times, we considered how we should move forward to continue growing together with our customers, resulting in the creation of "Kyushu Electric Power's Mission" along with the message, "Enlighten Our Future" in April 2007.In January 2018, we renamed this mission to "Kyuden Group's mission", and in October 2026, following the transition to holding company structure, we renamed this mission to "KYUDEN Group's mission".
To date, we have been striving to serve our customers' daily lives and local communities by ensuring a stable supply of electricity. Moreover, we believe that, to continue contributing to our customers' lives and to society, we need to respond to four major changes of these times.

• 1. Increasing competition in the electricity and energy sectors
• 2. Worsening of global environmental problems
• 3. Worsening of resource and energy issues
• 4. Diversification of lifestyles and values

Even as times change dramatically, guided by the Kyuden Group's mission (expressed in the message "Enlighten Our Future"), we will continue to meet our customers' expectations by working together as one unified group.
The message "Enlighten Our Future" expresses our commitment to consistently providing a stable supply of electricity and energy, even as times continue to change, and to contributing to our customers' comfortable, environmentally friendly everyday lives.
The phrase "comfortable and environment-friendly" embodies our desire to contribute to a sustainable society where enjoying a comfortable everyday life leads to a better global environment, and where what benefits the planet also enhances human well-being and comfort.
To summarize, the Kyuden Group's mission is to contribute to the realization of a comfortable, environmentally friendly everyday life and help connect it to a better future for our children.
